- post on fridge for 911 calls
- purse/wallet
ICE your phone (In Case of Emergency, call ___)
keep immunizations updated (shingles, flu, hepatitis, etc.)
GPS device or online map app for cell phone that works without cell service (e.g. Avenza, or similar)

Where are your personal health records?

Interior Health "MyHealthPortal" Register to access your personal health records online, such as lab results and reports from specialists.
BC Health Gateway - Register and login with your BC Services Card online or with the phone app to access your historical medical records (back to 1995), vaccinations, etc.
Interior Health application to receive specific specialists' reports or other health records not available in the above portals (especially if you no longer have a primary care doctor)

Keep Good Health records

Knowledge is the Best Medicine - about medications and keeping a record
Keep a folder for personal "Health" information - copies of reports, surgeries, test results, etc.
Your health records may not be immediately available to ER, or to other health regions, or when you change doctors or are traveling. Have your own health summary ready.
